The Bill & Carol Ryan Foundation is a Minnesota non-profit organization that provides educational scholarships for individuals who are military Veterans, children or grandchildren of Veterans who attend or wish to attend a college, university, junior college, vocational or technical school located in Minnesota. Scholarships will be awarded to individuals who do not have the sufficient financial means to pay for their post-secondary education. Multiple Scholarships will be awarded annually for an amount to be determined based on need and the educational institution.
Scholarship applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a military veteran, child or grandchild of an honorably discharged veteran.
- Have or have had a high school or college GPA of 2.0 or greater.
- Attend or will be attending within the next year a post-secondary educational institution that provides an educational program acceptable for full credit toward a bachelors degree, or offers a training program or vocational program to prepare students for gainful employment.
